Hello special needs parents!

So many changes have taken place the last few weeks and anxiety levels are high, especially when it comes to our children’s education. With schools closed, and learning moving to an online platform, many families with special needs kids are wondering how their kids will be supported through this change.  While I don’t have all those answers, I do know that many of us will be asked to participate in virtual IEP meetings to develop temporary learning plans and some may even have annual meetings coming up. The idea of having a virtual meetings makes lots of families nervous so I have put together some tips to help families prepare for virtual IEP meetings and help make this transition as smooth as possible.

If we all work together we will help to ensure our children are supported as best as we can given the unprecedented circumstances we are all experiencing.

If you still feel nervous after reviewing my tip sheet or feel you need additional support. Please reach out to me and I’d be happy to assist you.

Stay home, and Stay Safe!!
